El TP347H és un acer inoxidable austenític estabilitzat i s'ha utilitzat àmpliament en reescalfadors, intercanviadors de calor i sobreescalfadors a causa de la seva excel·lent resistència a la corrosió intergranular, l'oxidació i la resistència a la fluència a altes temperatures.
